# What You Need:
→ Bread
01 - 4 slices sandwich bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
→ Dairy
02 - 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
03 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
# How-To Steps:
01 - Spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Place two bread slices butter-side down. Layer two cheese slices on each unbuttered side, then top with remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
03 - Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
04 - Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
05 - Remove from pan, let cool slightly, then slice diagonally and serve immediately.
